Valentine’s Day - what a great concept. It is a day where the whole point is to show the one you love how much you love them. Children at school bring a little card called a valentine to hand out to other kids in their classes. Really, what is there not to love about this holiday? We ask kids and everyone around them to show love and care for others on this day. There are some people who have a hard time on Valentine’s Day because they do not have someone special to share it with or have memories of someone they have spent time with on past Valentine’s days.
On Saturday, February 12th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., there is the unique opportunity for your family to minister to the residents at Hearthstone Assisted Living for Valentine’s Day. During this time, we will be handing out valentines to the residents and visiting with them. Please take advantage of this teachable moment as your family serves the community together.
